NUC APPROVES COOU TO COMMENCE FULL TIME DOCTOR OF PHARMACY PROGRAMME

The National Universities Commission has granted approval for COOU to begin its full time Pharm D programme from the 2025 2026 academic session following a successful resource verification.

Legitdan news report that the National Universities Commission has approved Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University to commence its full time Doctor of Pharmacy programme from the 2025 2026 academic session.

The approval followed a successful resource verification exercise which confirmed that the university has adequate staffing and facilities to run the programme in line with regulatory standards.

The Commission clarified that the approval applies strictly to the full time mode. Any plan to introduce a part time option will require a separate approval from the regulatory body.

The university has been directed to maintain the required human and material resources to ensure sustained quality and compliance with national and global academic standards.
