UNICAL SUSPENDS NINE STUDENTS OVER EXAM MALPRACTICE AND FORGED RESULTS

Nine students of the University of Calabar have been suspended for two semesters. The action follows findings of examination malpractice and submission of fake results.

Legitdan news report that the University of Calabar has suspended nine students for examination malpractice and submission of forged results.

The suspension takes effect from the 2024 2025 academic session and will last for two semesters. Five of the affected students were found guilty of cheating during examinations, while four were sanctioned for submitting fake academic results.

The decision was approved at the 252nd Senate meeting of the university. The affected students are from the departments of Pharmacy, Home Economics, Zoology, Science Laboratory Technology, and Linguistics.

Faculty heads and security officials have been directed to enforce the suspension order in line with the institution’s regulations.
