LAUTECH Senate has approved the relocation of the Departments of Anatomy and Physiology from the College of Health Sciences to the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences.
Legitdan news report that the Senate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has approved the relocation of the Departments of Anatomy and Physiology from the College of Health Sciences to the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences.
The decision was reached at a Senate meeting held on January 21, 2026, and formally communicated through an internal memorandum dated February 11, 2026, by the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Senate and Examinations Unit.
According to the memo, the movement also includes non-medical staff members within the affected departments to ensure administrative alignment and ease of career progression.
The university management noted that the relocation has officially taken effect following Senate approval and called for cooperation from all relevant offices to ensure a smooth transition.
