Nile University Releases Post UTME/DE Admission Form For The 2024/2025 Academic Session

Nigerian Turkish Nile University Post-UTME Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Nigerian Turkish Nile University (NTNU) has announced the sale of Post-UTME forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. Applications are invited from candidates for admission into various undergraduate programmes.

 

Faculties and Programmes:

  1. Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics, and any other two relevant subjects (Economics, Accounting, Government).
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level credits including Economics, or NCE/OND with credit passes.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include Economics, English, Mathematics, and any other subject.
  2. Political Science and International Relations
    • UTME Requirements: Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English, Government or History, at least a pass in Maths, and any other relevant subjects.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include three Arts or Social Science subjects.
  3. English Studies
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) including English Language and Literature in English.
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes including Literature in English and one other Arts subject.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include English, Literature in English, one Arts subject, and another Social Science subject.
  4. Biology
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Biology, and any other science subjects.
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes in Biology and any one of Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry; Credit passes in OND.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include English, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any of Physics, Geography, or Biology.
  5. Chemistry
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any other two science subjects.
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics, or Biology; Credit passes in OND.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include English, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any of Physics, Geography, or Biology.
  6. Computer Science
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics, and any other three subjects (preferably Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science).
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes in Mathematics and either Physics and/or Chemistry; OND/NCE in Mathematics and another Science Subject.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, or Economics.
  7. Faculty of Engineering
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics, and any other three subjects (preferably Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes in Mathematics and either Physics and/or Chemistry; OND/NCE in Mathematics and another Science Subject.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, or Geography.
  8. Department of Law
    • UTME Requirements: Five credits at SSCE (or equivalent) including English Language and Literature in English.
    • Direct Entry Requirements: Two “A” level passes including Literature in English and one other Arts subject.
    • Remarks: UTME subjects include English, Literature in English, one Arts subject, and another Social Science subject.

Admission Procedures:

  1. Nigerian Applicants: Must take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination or UTME and obtain the approved cut-off mark for that year. Five credits at no more than two sittings are required.
  2. Foreign Applicants: Must provide corresponding Examination Results and academic transcripts from previous high schools.
  3. Transfer & Direct Entry Students: Candidates with qualifications like OND, HSE, HND, ‘A’ level GCE, SBS, IJMB, or any other higher qualification. A grade point average of 1.50 CGPA (3rd class) on a 5.0 scale is required.

  • Guarantor’s Letter/attestation of Financial Support

  • Letter of Recommendation from Secondary School Counsel/Principal
  • 4 Recent Passport Photographs

Note: Admissions are open to all irrespective of nationality, sex, physical ability, and religion, provided the applicant completes the application form with valid information.
