NELFUND Begins April 2025 Student Upkeep Payments, Assures Students Facing Delays

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has commenced the disbursement of April 2025 upkeep payments to eligible student beneficiaries across the country.

In an official update released by the agency, NELFUND confirmed that while the majority of payments have been successfully processed, some students may experience minor delays. The agency attributed these delays to a recent upgrade in its payment and application processing system.

According to the statement signed by the Director of Strategic Communications, Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the system enhancement was designed to improve security and ensure smoother and more efficient disbursements in future cycles.

“We are working closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve any issues quickly and guarantee that all eligible students receive their entitlements without unnecessary delays,” the statement read. NELFUND reiterated its commitment to transparency, operational excellence, and timely support for students in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
