MTN NIGERIA TO EXPAND DIGITAL PARTNERSHIP WITH FUOYE

MTN Nigeria plans to support FUOYE with ICT and cloud solutions beyond basic telecom services. The move aims to improve connectivity and digital learning at the university.

Legitdan news report that MTN Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to partner with Federal University Oye Ekiti to support technological development on campus.

During a meeting with the university management, MTN representatives said the company is focusing on digital innovation and wants to provide improved ICT services, cloud solutions, and smart learning tools. The plan also seeks to address earlier complaints about weak network performance on campus.

The university ICT team raised concerns about high service costs and inconsistent network quality but expressed readiness to collaborate. The Vice Chancellor also plans to digitise university operations, including online meetings and examinations.

Both MTN Nigeria and the university agreed to strengthen cooperation to improve connectivity, enhance digital services, and support teaching and learning activities.
