UI Resolves Campus Transport Issues, Normal Operations Resume
Legitdan News reports that the Students’ Union of University of Ibadan has addressed and resolved recent transportation challenges affecting students on campus.
In a statement released by the Transport Committee, the Union confirmed that issues involving Keke and cab operators refusing to operate in certain areas due to the N100 fare have been settled. Affected areas included the Students’ Union Building and various halls of residence.
The Union also resolved concerns about extra charges on electronic transfers. Students can now make payments for the standard fare without any additional transaction charges.
Normal transport operations have resumed across all routes within the campus.
Students are advised to cooperate with transport operators to maintain order and smooth operations.
The Union also encouraged students to report any form of non-compliance by drivers by noting the vehicle sticker number and forwarding complaints for prompt action.
