OPAY ADDS FOUR SCHOOLS TO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
OPay has expanded its education support programme with four new partner institutions. The initiative now covers 24 schools across Nigeria.
Legitdan news report that OPay has expanded its education support programme by signing partnership agreements with four additional institutions in Nigeria.
The new partner schools are Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo, Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Montgomery Polytechnic Ikere Ekiti, and Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo.
The development brings the total number of participating institutions under the programme to 24 nationwide.
Under the company 1.2 billion naira ten year education support plan, 20 students in each partner institution will receive scholarships worth 300000 naira annually.
According to the company, the scholarship is targeted at hardworking students facing financial challenges to help them remain in school and complete their studies successfully.
The organisation stated that the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting education and creating more opportunities for young Nigerians across campuses and communities.
