NECO ANNOUNCES FINAL DEADLINE FOR 2026 SSCE INTERNAL REGISTRATION

Legitdan News reports that the National Examinations Council has announced the official deadline for the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal registration.

According to an internal memo issued by the Registration Department and dated May 13, 2026, the normal registration period for the 2026 SSCE Internal examination will end on Monday, May 25, 2026.

The council also disclosed that late registration will commence from Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and end on Friday, May 29, 2026.

NECO further stated that its registration portal will be completely closed by 11:59pm on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The examination body urged all schools to speed up the registration of their candidates to avoid missing the deadline.

The memo stressed that there shall be no extension after the closure of the registration portal.
