LAGOS STATE COLLEGE, IGANDO [LASCON] OF NURSING IGANDO BEGINS 2025/2026 ADMISSION SCREENING FOR ND & HND PROGRAMMES

Applications are now open for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes at Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando (LASCON) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The college announced that the application process began on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, and will close on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025. The admission is strictly for candidates who selected LASCON as their first-choice institution and scored 200 and above in the just-concluded JAMB examination.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess at least five (5) credits in one or two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their WASSCE/NECO O’Level.

The programme is a 4-year residential course leading to the award of HND/RM/RPHN qualifications, including a mandatory internship.

SCREENING DETAILS

The Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) is scheduled to hold on:

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM
📍 Venue: Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando (inside Alimosho General Hospital)

Candidates will be tested on English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Current Affairs. The school has also clearly warned that past questions are not sold.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants are to visit the official portal at www.lascon.edu.ng to begin the registration. The application involves:

Creating an account and filling in details such as full name, course, email, JAMB number, and phone number.
Paying a ₦15,000 non-refundable application fee via Paystack.
Completing the online form, including uploading passport photographs and verifying O’Level results.
Submitting and printing the application confirmation slip.

Please note: First-year school fees are ₦300,000, and an additional ₦100,000 acceptance fee is expected upon admission. LASCON clarified that training is residential.
