JAMB SETS FEBRUARY 26 DEADLINE FOR 2026 UTME E PIN SALES
Legitdan News reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has issued an important notice to candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
According to the Board:
• UTME e PIN vending will close on Thursday, 26 February 2026, by 12:00 midnight
• No new e PINs will be sold after this deadline
• Candidates who already purchased e PINs can complete registration until Saturday, 28 February 2026
As of 17 February 2026:
• Over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered
• The Board has the capacity to register up to 100,000 candidates daily
• Registration centres are currently operating at about 30 percent capacity
JAMB noted that many eligible candidates are yet to register despite available capacity nationwide.
Candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration immediately to avoid last minute delays, queues, or technical challenges.
The Board made it clear that there will be no extension beyond the stated deadlines.
