GOVERNOR KEFAS REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR FEDERAL UNIVERSITY WUKARI
Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has pledged continued collaboration with the Federal University Wukari. He said his administration remains committed to education growth and institutional development.
Legitdan news report that Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has reaffirmed his government commitment to working closely with the Federal University Wukari to improve education and strengthen the institution growth.
He gave the assurance during a meeting with the university governing council and management in Jalingo, where he also praised the new Vice Chancellor, Professor Benjamin Kefas, describing him as capable of leading the university toward stability and academic excellence.
The governor called on staff members and stakeholders to support the leadership, maintain unity, and avoid internal divisions that could slow the progress of the university.
He further stated that his administration will continue to invest in education and partner with institutions across Taraba State.
In response, the Vice Chancellor and university officials commended the governor for his support for education, including scholarship programmes, reduced tuition fees, and continued assistance to the institution.
