FUL APPROVES POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES IN MASS COMMUNICATION
The Senate of Federal University Lokoja has approved the commencement of postgraduate programmes in the Department of Mass Communication as part of efforts to expand academic opportunities and postgraduate education.
Legitdan news report that the Senate of Federal University Lokoja has approved the commencement of postgraduate programmes in the Department of Mass Communication.
The approval was granted during the institution one hundred and first statutory Senate meeting held on May fourteen two thousand and twenty six after the review of the department proposal and accreditation report.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Solomon Gbenga Ibileye, the development reflects the university commitment to expanding access to quality postgraduate education and addressing the increasing demand for communication professionals in Nigeria.
The new postgraduate programmes will include Postgraduate Diploma, Master degree, and Doctor of Philosophy programmes in major areas of communication studies.
The School of Postgraduate Studies also confirmed that additional academic staff have been recruited, while studio and research facilities have been upgraded ahead of the commencement of the programmes.
