FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY AWARDS (2024/2025) – APPLY NOW!
The Federal Ministry of Education is inviting qualified Nigerian students to apply for the 2024/2025 Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and Education Bursary Award (EBA). These awards are tenable in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
A. Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA)
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Postgraduate Applicants must have a first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and must be full-time students at federal or state universities.
2. Undergraduate/HND Students must:
• Be in second year or above.
• Be studying in public tertiary institutions.
• Have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 (on 5.0 scale) or 3.5 (on 4.0 scale).

• Medicine and Medical Sciences
• Education
• Agriculture
• Social and Management Sciences
• Entrepreneurial Studies
• ICT
• Environmental Sciences
• Law
B. Education Bursary Award (EBA)
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Must be a registered student of Education in a Nigerian college of education or university.
2. Must be a full-time student.
3. Must be in second year or above.
4. Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship.

• Click on the Federal Scholarship Board icon.
• Read the guidelines and complete the form online.
• Print the completed form.
Required Documents:
• Admission Letter
• CGPA Result
• State of Origin Certificate
NOTE: Double applications will lead to disqualification.
Application Timeline:
• Opening Date: 18th April 2025
• Closing Date: 29th May 2025
Important Reminders:
• Awards are only for institutions in Nigeria.
• Only one award at a time (no combining scholarships).
• Awardees cannot change courses/institutions while enjoying the award.
• No application fees. No agents required.
