FULOKOJA SUSPENDS UNAPPROVED STUDENT EVENT

The Students’ Representative Council of the Federal University Lokoja has stopped an event titled Freshers Orientation Grassroots Movement for POSACH 2026. The council reviewed the circulating flyer and confirmed the organizers did not submit the event for approval.

The SRC stated that the event has been suspended with immediate effect and is unauthorized. Students are told not to promote it, attend it, or share any related material.

The council stressed that no group or individual is allowed to organize events using the university or SUG identity without clearance. Any program involving freshers or cross faculty participation must pass through due process before recognition.

The SRC warned that students who ignore procedures will face sanctions based on union and university rules.

The notice was signed by the Deputy Senate President, Sen Shaikh Jorshuwa Terdoo, on behalf of the senate.
