EAUED GETS ACCREDITATION FOR ALL 49 PROGRAMMES
Emmanuel Alayande University of Education has secured accreditation for all 49 programmes presented to the NUC. Most of the programmes received full accreditation status.
Legitdan news report that the National Universities Commission has granted accreditation to all 49 academic programmes presented by Emmanuel Alayande University of Education.
According to the university, 43 programmes received full accreditation while six were placed on interim status. The result followed the commission assessment exercise conducted in November 2025 and was officially conveyed in April 2026.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan, described the outcome as a strong endorsement of the institution commitment to academic excellence and national standards. He added that the accredited programmes will run for the next five years.
Professor Olaniyan also stated that the university has recorded rapid growth since academic activities began in August 2023. He said the institution now has a student population of 8,679, including students already in 300 level.
He commended the support of the Oyo State Government, noting that its commitment has contributed significantly to the progress and development of the university.
