Legitdan news report that award winning Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has emphasized the importance of education in achieving excellence, stating that it is wrong to dismiss education as a scam.
Speaking during a visit to Babcock University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in 2015, Davido described his academic journey as a defining experience that helped instill discipline and shape his career.
The singer noted that earning a university degree remains one of his proudest achievements and encouraged students and young Nigerians to remain focused on their education while pursuing their talents and ambitions.
Davido also revealed plans to support the university by helping to develop its Music Department into a fully equipped world class facility, stressing the growing importance of the creative industry in Nigeria economy.
He further advised young people to remain disciplined, pursue excellence in their chosen careers, and understand that academic training remains a strong foundation for success.
