FG LAUNCHES FREE AI ACADEMY TO EMPOWER NIGERIAN YOUTHS
Legitdan News reports that the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat and Intel Corporation, has introduced a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with advanced technology skills.
The academy offers self-paced courses on AI fundamentals, ethics, tools, and real-world applications. Participants will also have opportunities to compete for AI ambassadorial roles and internships with Intel Corporation, providing them with practical global experience in AI.
This initiative is designed to prepare Nigerian youths for future jobs and leadership roles in the digital economy, enhance their global competitiveness, and foster innovation within the country.
Interested applicants can register via www.scienceandtech.gov.ng/academy. The application portal will remain open until January 30th, 2025.
