Modibbo Adama University ANNOUNCES ADJUSTED WORKING HOURS FOR STAFF DURING 2026 RAMADAN FASTING PERIOD

Modibbo Adama University has announced revised closing times for staff during the 2026 Ramadan fasting period, with work hours ending earlier on weekdays and Fridays.

Legitdan news report that Modibbo Adama University, through its Office of the Registrar, has issued a general circular informing all members of staff about adjusted working hours during the 2026 Ramadan fasting period.

According to the internal memo dated February 18, 2026, staff are to resume work at 8:00 a.m. on all working days. Closing time from Mondays to Thursdays has been rescheduled to 3:00 p.m., while Fridays will close earlier at 1:30 p.m. throughout the fasting period.

The university management advised all staff members to strictly observe the revised schedule and wished them a peaceful and successful Ramadan season.

The circular was signed by the Registrar, Mustafa U. Migawa, and copied to principal officers of the university, including the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Bursar, University Librarian, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments.
