LASUSTECH ANNOUNCES 2026 LAGOS STATE ORIGIN VERIFICATION EXERCISE
Lagos State University of Science and Technology has announced the commencement of its State of Origin Verification Exercise for Lagos indigenes seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Legitdan news report that Lagos State University of Science and Technology has announced the commencement of the 2026/2027 State of Origin Verification Exercise for candidates who are indigenes of Lagos State.
According to the notice, all candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASUSTECH as their first choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and scored a minimum of one hundred and ninety five are eligible to apply. Direct Entry applicants of Lagos State origin are also eligible for the exercise.
The registration exercise will commence on Wednesday, May twenty two thousand and twenty six and close on Friday, June twelve two thousand and twenty six, while verification interviews are scheduled to hold from Wednesday, June seventeen to Friday, June nineteen two thousand and twenty six.
The university stated that candidates are required to make a payment of ten thousand naira through the official verification portal.
LASUSTECH further clarified that the State of Origin Verification Exercise does not guarantee admission but remains compulsory for Lagos State indigene candidates before they can process their Post UTME screening forms.
The management also warned applicants against making payments through unofficial channels, stressing that only candidates who scored one hundred and ninety five and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible for the exercise.
