LASU TO TRAIN FINAL YEAR STUDENTS FOR CAREER READINESS

Legitdan news report that the Counselling and Careers Unit of Lagos State University has announced a capacity building programme for final year students across all faculties.
The initiative is aimed at equipping students with essential social and professional skills needed for life after graduation in an artificial intelligence driven world.
According to the university, the programme will focus on competencies such as civility, workplace behaviour, and effective communication, which are considered important for career success in modern society.
The training is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, by 11:00 a.m. at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU Main Campus, Ojo.
The university stated that the programme reflects its commitment to holistic student development by combining academic preparation with professional readiness for the labour market. Final year students have been encouraged to participate.
