NUC GRANTS FULL ACCREDITATION TO SEVEN ACHIEVERS UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES
The National Universities Commission has granted full accreditation to seven academic programmes at Achievers University. The approval followed an accreditation exercise conducted in late 2025.
Legitdan news report that the National Universities Commission has granted full accreditation to seven academic programmes at Achievers University following a comprehensive accreditation exercise conducted in October and November 2025.
The accredited programmes include Medical Laboratory Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Criminology and Security Studies, and Sociology.
In a formal letter dated April 7, 2026, the Director of Accreditation of the commission confirmed that the programmes met required standards in curriculum quality, staffing, infrastructure, library facilities, and academic delivery.
Full accreditation is the highest status awarded by the National Universities Commission and remains valid for five years. The development reflects the university commitment to academic excellence and quality education.
