AKSU ANNOUNCES APPROVED FEES FOR COMBINED 6TH TO 12TH CONVOCATION CEREMONIES
Legitdan News reports that Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has released the approved convocation fees for graduands participating in its combined 6th to 12th convocation ceremonies.
The notice, issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated February 6, 2026, informed all graduands that the convocation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
According to the statement, postgraduate graduands are to pay different fees based on gown collection. Those collecting academic gowns will pay ₦150,000, while those without gowns will pay ₦85,000.
For undergraduate graduands, the approved convocation fee is ₦45,000.
The university also stated that graduands who had previously paid ₦15,000 convocation fees are only required to pay the balance based on the newly approved rates.
Evidence of payment will be required during clearance and for the collection of convocation materials.
Further information on payment procedures, deadlines, and gown collection will be communicated in due course. All graduands have been advised to comply accordingly.
