NUC APPROVES FULL TIME LL.B PROGRAMME FOR AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY
Akwa Ibom State University has received approval from the National Universities Commission to begin its full time Bachelor of Laws degree programme. The approval is effective from the 2025 session. The confirmation came through an official NUC letter dated 10 November 2025.
The university is now set to admit its first set of Law students. Interested applicants must select AKSU as their first choice institution and have a minimum UTME score of 280. Candidates who want to study Law in AKSU but did not pick the university earlier must process a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal.
Online registration starts on Monday 17 November 2025. Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their 2025 UTME result slip, birth certificate, certificate of origin, and the AKSU PUTME registration slip.
Application steps include visiting the official portal, selecting Enrol, choosing PUTME, verifying JAMB details, paying the required fee, uploading documents in the correct format, reviewing all entries, and generating the registration confirmation slip.
The university warned applicants not to deal with agents or make payments into personal accounts. All authentic admission information is available only through official AKSU channels.
