The Management of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for the institution to commence a Full-Time Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree Programme beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session.

The approval was conveyed in an official letter issued by the NUC on 10th November, 2025, authorizing the university to admit its pioneer set of Law students..
Consequently, suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the newly approved LL.B Law programme..
Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must have selected AKSU as their First Choice Institution during UTME.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 280.
Candidates who wish to study Law in AKSU but did not choose the university during UTME registration are advised to apply immediately for a Change of Institution via JAMB.
Registration Start Date
Online registration opens on Monday, 17th November 2025.
Only candidates who successfully complete the online application will be considered for admission.

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following:
1. 2025 UTME Result Slip
2. Birth Certificate
3. Certificate of Origin
4. AKSU PUTME Registration Confirmation Slip (2025)

2. Click on “START NOW”
3. Select “Enrol”
4. Click on “PUTME”
5. Enter JAMB Registration Number
6. Verify details and continue
7. Make payment of N2,000.00 as registration fee (excluding bank charges) via Debit Card or Transfer
8. Upload required documents in .jpg format with file size between 120KB and 150KB
9. Review details entered
10. Click the “Finish” button to generate the Registration Confirmation Slip
