The calendar is specifically designed for students admitted through supplementary admission into the university’s eight newly approved academic programmes.

The calendar outlines activities for both the First and Second Semesters, detailing key academic events from resumption to the end of the session.

FIRST SEMESTER 2024/2025 FOR 8 NEW PROGRAMMES

• Monday, 24th February, 2025 – Resumption and Online Registration for New Programmes

• Wednesday, 26th – Friday, 28th February, 2025 – Orientation Programme for New Intakes

• Monday, 3rd March, 2025 – Lectures Begin in Earnest (weekends included)

• Saturday, 19th April, 2025 – Lectures End for New Programmes

• Tuesday, 22nd – Saturday, 26th April, 2025 – Revision Week for New Programmes

• Monday, 28th April, 2025 – First Semester Examinations Begin

• Saturday, 10th May, 2025 – First Semester Examinations End

SECOND SEMESTER 2024/2025 FOR NEW PROGRAMMES

• Monday, 12th – Friday, 16th May, 2025 – Students’ Union Week

• Monday, 19th May, 2025 – Resumption/Registration for 2nd Semester & Commencement of Lectures

• Saturday, 5th July, 2025 – End of Lectures for Second Semester

• Monday, 7th – Friday, 12th July, 2025 – Revision Week

• Monday, 14th July, 2025 – Second Semester Examinations Begin

• Saturday, 26th July, 2025 – Second Semester Examinations End

• Monday, 28th July – Saturday, 6th September, 2025 – End of Session Break

NOTES

1. Sporting activities hold every Friday from 1 PM.

2. The 2025/2026 Academic Session begins Monday, 8th September 2025.

3. Public holidays will be observed in line with Federal Government directives.
