The University of Benin management has instructed all duly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session to report to their faculties for clearance following reported difficulties in some departments

Legitdan news report that the management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has requested all students who were duly admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session to present themselves for clearance in their respective departments and faculties.

The directive follows reports that some students offered provisional admission are experiencing difficulties during the clearance process in certain faculties, particularly the Faculty of Optometry.

Management expressed displeasure over the situation and emphasized that all affected students, including those in the Faculty of Optometry, should return to their faculties to complete the required clearance procedures.
