LAUTECH REVIVES OFFICIAL CAMPUS MARKETPLACE FOR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has announced the resuscitation of its official campus marketplace. The university says all commercial activities will now be concentrated within the approved market area.
Legitdan news report that Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has announced the resuscitation of its officially designated campus marketplace to serve as the approved hub for all commercial activities within the institution.
According to a special release issued by the Office of the Registrar, the marketplace is located behind the university Sports Complex.
The university directed all business operators currently occupying spaces within the market to renew or confirm their interest in continuing operations within one week of the notice.
It also instructed individuals carrying out commercial activities in other parts of the campus to indicate interest and relocate to the designated marketplace within two weeks.
Affected persons were advised to liaise with the Chairman of the University Environmental Committee, A K Ayinla, for further guidance and compliance.
The management explained that the directive is aimed at promoting orderliness, improving environmental management, and ensuring a structured commercial system within the university community.
