LASU ANNOUNCES ONLINE LACACA CLEARANCE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED SANDWICH STUDENTS FOR THE 2024 MODULAR YEAR
Legitdan News reports that Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of the online admissions clearance exercise for candidates admitted into the Sandwich Degree programmes for the 2024 Modular Year.
Admitted candidates are required to complete this process using the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) to secure their admission. Candidates who successfully complete the process will be assigned matriculation numbers, while those who fail to do so will forfeit their provisional admission.
LACACA Clearance Payment Procedure:
1. Visit the LASU Consult website: lasu.edu.ng/consult
2. Enter your Application Number in the designated field.
3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
4. Click “Continue†to proceed with payment.
Steps to Complete the LACACA Process:
1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Navigate to the STUDENT tab and click on SANDWICH LACACA.
3. Enter your 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Application Number and Surname, then click Submit.
Once logged in, candidates must:
✅ Validate basic bio-data details.
✅ Confirm disability status (if applicable).
✅ Upload O’Level scratch card details.
✅ Upload original birth certificate.
✅ Upload original Sandwich Admission Letter.
✅ Upload a scanned signature.
✅ Submit the application by checking the “I Agree†box and clicking Submit.
After submission, the clearance process will progress to 20%, and university officials will review the uploaded documents. Candidates must regularly monitor their portal for updates.
• Candidates with errors requiring corrections must pay for error correction via the LASU e-payment portal.
• Upon achieving 100% clearance progress, candidates can print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and will be assigned a matriculation number.
Important Information:
📌 Clearance starts on Friday, 7th February 2025.
📌 Candidates who are rejected should check their portal for reasons and may need to visit the Directorate of Sandwich, Main Campus, Ojo, for further assistance.
