JAMB ANNOUNCES 2026 ADMISSION DEADLINES FOR UNIVERSITIES, POLYTECHNICS, OTHERS
Legitdan News reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially announced the admission deadlines for tertiary institutions across Nigeria for the 2026 academic session.
According to the Board, universities are expected to conclude all admission processes on or before October 31, 2026.
Polytechnics have been given until November 30, 2026, while monotechnics and colleges of education are expected to complete their admissions on or before December 31, 2026.
JAMB stated that institutions must strictly comply with the approved timelines to ensure a smooth, coordinated, and transparent admission process nationwide.
The deadlines were part of resolutions reached during the ongoing 2026 JAMB Admission Policy Meeting, where key stakeholders in the education sector are discussing admission guidelines and policies for the new academic session.
Prospective candidates have been advised to stay updated with information from their preferred institutions and complete all admission requirements within the approved timeframe.
