Delta State University has responded to complaints on certificate delays, advising applicants to follow proper channels through the Exams and Records unit.

In a reply issued by the institution’s Facebook administrator, Aboyi Lawson, the University questioned whether affected candidates followed the required procedures.

The response highlighted key issues including confirmation of graduation status, successful clearance, and whether the certificate application was properly submitted through the appropriate channel.

The University advised concerned individuals to visit the Exams and Records Unit for proper guidance and communication regarding their certificate processing.

The response suggests that delays may be linked to incomplete processes or failure to follow official procedures.
