Ahmadu Bello University ACENPEE Hosts Innovation Week for Students

Prof. F.O. Anafi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, revealed that the event will be held annually, with over 50 entries from departments like Mechanical and Computer Engineering.

 

The Africa Centre of Excellence on New Pedagogies in Engineering Education (ACENPEE) at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has held its innovation week, showcasing research by undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Centre Director Prof. Raymond Bako commended the participants for presenting their ideas and pledged support for postgraduate students seeking further research opportunities. Prof. F.O. Anafi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, revealed that the event will be held annually, with over 50 entries from departments like Mechanical and Computer Engineering.

Prof. Joy Maina, Director of Research and Innovation, encouraged patentable discoveries, while the Dean of Education, Prof. Abdullahi Dalhatu, praised the event’s collaborative efforts.
