COMMENCEMENT OF LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY, (LASU) CENTRAL ADMISSIONS CLEARANCE (PG LACACA) FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS (2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION)
Admitted candidates into Lagos State University Postgraduate Programmes in the 2023/2024 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the use of Postgraduate LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (PG LACACA).
Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, shall be assigned matriculation numbers while unsuccessful candidates shall be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admissions.
The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; and as such all the participating and admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 academic session are to pay for the required Clearance Fee through the required payment portal.
Candidates are required to have made payment for acceptance, medical, and clearance fees before commencing the online clearance.
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF (LACACA) CLEARANCE FEES
A. Visit http://lasu.edu.ng/consult
B. Supply PG Application Number.
C. Select the required Payment Description under the Select Drop Down: *POSTGRADUATE LACACA (PGD & MASTERS) or POSTGRADUATE LACACA (MPhil & PhD)*
D. Supply a valid email and phone number.
E. Click Continue to finalise payment.
*STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION*
I. Visit LASU Website – https://www.lasu.edu.ng
II. Point to the STUDENT Tab and click on PG LACACA.
III. Enter your PG Application number and surname, Select the Year of Entry (2023), and click on Submit.
Candidates are expected to complete the following on the dashboard:
(a). Validate your basic bio-data details.
(b). Upload O’Level results and relevant scratch card details.
(c). Upload original birth certificate.
(d). Upload the original LASU Postgraduate Admission Letter.
(e). Upload BSC Certificate.
(f). Upload MSC Certificate where required.
(g). Upload PGD Certificate where required.
(h). Upload NYSC Discharge Certificate.
(i). Upload Academic Transcript.
(j). Upload Digital Signature.
(k). Upload evidence of Change of Name where required.
(l). Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit.
IV. At this stage, the admission clearance progresses to 20% while the documents have been submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated University officials.
V. Candidates are therefore expected to check for the progress of the Admission Clearance as necessary attention may be required based on the uploaded documents.
VI. Candidates with error(s) that require correction will be required to pay for correction of such error(s) on the LASU payment portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment
VII. Upon attainment of 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print the LASU PG Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and be assigned Matriculation Numbers.
PS: The online clearance will commence on Friday, 19th July 2024.
Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reason for rejection.
