JAMB Warns Candidates to Beware of Fraudsters

JAMB has issued a strict warning to candidates about the activities of fraudsters and scammers.

Attention, candidates: It has come to our notice that an individual operating under the name Fomo Web3 (@Chaser67y) is offering fraudulent “assistance” to unsuspecting candidates, claiming to retrieve their 2024 UTME results without using registered SIM cards.

This scammer is reportedly collaborating with an individual named Raphael at the LASU CBT Centre, who can be contacted at the mobile number 0704 451 2628. In light of this, the Board strongly advises:

  • Candidates should avoid using third parties for any JAMB-related services to prevent being scammed.
  • The Board is taking necessary steps to bring Fomo Web3, Raphael, and their associates to justice soon.

Please remain vigilant and only use official JAMB channels for all services
