LASU GRADUATE KIDNAPPED EN ROUTE TO NYSC ORIENTATION

A Lagos State University graduate has been kidnapped while travelling to the NYSC orientation camp. A ransom demand has been issued.

Legitdan news report that Ogunlana Adetola Sodiq, a graduate of Lagos State University, was reportedly kidnapped by armed men while on his way to the National Youth Service Corps orientation camp in Ede, Osun State.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 22, as he was travelling to begin the mandatory one year service programme. Reports indicate that the attackers shot him in the leg during the abduction.

The kidnappers have allegedly demanded a ransom of 20 million naira and set a strict deadline for payment. This has created significant pressure on the family as they seek to respond to the situation.
