NELFUND DENIES INCREASE OF STUDENT ALLOWANCE TO 25000

NELFUND has dismissed reports claiming an increase in student upkeep allowance. The agency confirmed that the amount remains unchanged.

 

Legitdan news report that Nigerian Education Loan Fund has clarified that reports suggesting an increase in student upkeep allowance to 25000 naira are false and misleading.

The agency stated that the approved monthly upkeep allowance for beneficiaries remains 20000 naira and no official decision has been made to review the amount.

It advised students and members of the public to disregard unofficial information and rely only on verified communication channels for accurate updates.
