EKSU STUDENTS RAISE ALARM OVER HOSTEL ROBBERY INCIDENTS

Students of Ekiti State University have reported rising robbery attacks around hostels. The Students Union has called for urgent action to improve security.

 

Legitdan news report that students of Ekiti State University have expressed concern over increasing cases of armed robbery targeting hostels, especially in the Phase 2 area.

In a statement, the Students Union, led by Osunyomi Hezekalh, described the incidents as a serious threat to student safety and academic activities.

The union stated that it has engaged the university management, security agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen security measures within and around the campus.

Students have been advised to remain vigilant, avoid late night movement, and promptly report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
