FOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY ADOPTS FG ASUU SALARY STRUCTURE
Fountain University has approved the Federal Government ASUU salary structure. The move is aimed at improving staff welfare and attracting qualified personnel.
Legitdan news report that Fountain University has approved the adoption of the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities salary structure.
The decision was reached during a Governing Council meeting led by Awa Ibraheem and was announced by the Vice Chancellor, Olayinka Ramota Karim.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the new salary structure is expected to motivate staff, promote fairness, and align the institution with national standards.
She added that improved remuneration will help the university attract and retain qualified lecturers and other staff, while also enhancing productivity and overall performance.
The Governing Council reviewed the financial implications of the new structure before granting approval and expressed confidence in the university’s ability to sustain the system.
The development reflects the institution’s commitment to staff welfare, academic excellence, and long term growth within the private university sector.
