AFUED VC URGES RESEARCHERS TO FOLLOW ETHICAL STANDARDS
The Vice Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education has cautioned researchers against unethical practices. He emphasised the need for proper research methods and data protection.
Legitdan news report that the Vice Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Professor Bayode Isaiah Popoola, has advised researchers to adhere strictly to ethical standards in order to avoid legal issues.
He described research as an important driver of societal development and highlighted key research approaches including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods.
The Vice Chancellor also pointed out essential factors that influence research design and stressed the importance of responsible data collection practices such as obtaining informed consent and ensuring confidentiality.
In a related contribution, guest lecturer Joshua Oyeniyi Aransiola emphasised the importance of qualitative research methods in providing deeper insights and improving the quality of research outcomes.
