UNICAL COMMISSIONS VEHICLES TO BOOST MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH

The University of Calabar has commissioned vehicles donated under a Gates Foundation funded project. The initiative aims to improve maternal and child health services in Cross River State.

Legitdan news report that the University of Calabar has commissioned vehicles donated through the PRIMS project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The commissioned fleet includes a 2025 Toyota RAV4 and a fully equipped ambulance. The vehicles are expected to support maternal and child health services by improving the monitoring of pregnancies and tracking of risk factors for safer deliveries across Cross River State.
