FUNAAB SCHEDULES COMPULSORY NYSC MOBILISATION BRIEFING FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS
FUNAAB has fixed March 11, 2026 for an NYSC mobilisation briefing. Attendance is compulsory for all 2025 2026 final year students.
Legitdan news report that the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta has directed all 2025 2026 final year students to attend a sensitization programme on NYSC mobilisation.
The internal memorandum was issued by the Student Affairs Division of the University. The briefing will be conducted by officials from the National Youth Service Corps National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja.
According to the notice signed by Festus Idowu Adeosun, Dean of Student Affairs, the programme is aimed at preparing prospective corps members for national service and providing first hand information on the activities of the scheme.
The University stated that attendance is compulsory for all affected students. It added that failure to attend may affect the process of mobilisation for National Service.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 11 March 2026 at the Mahmood Yakubu Lecture Theatre by 12 noon.
