LASU DISOWNS VIRAL BANDITS PRANK VIDEO, WARNS AGAINST UNAPPROVED CAMPUS FILMING
Legitdan News reports that Lagos State University has rejected a viral video titled Bandits Prank on Lasuites. The video was released by Datreez Entertainment TV on Friday 5 December 2025 at night. It showed people entering the campus in a way that caused fear among students.
The University said it did not approve the recording. It confirmed that the group behind the video filmed on campus without permission. LASU described the act as a security threat.
The Management condemned any content linked to bandit activity or violent behaviour. It said such acts affect peace on campus, especially during a period of national security concern.
LASU restated its priority on student safety. It urged students and staff to report suspicious actions to the security unit for quick action.
