ABSU notice to students who were transferred to MBBS from other programmes

The management of the Abia State University (ABSU) wishes to inform all the university’s medical students that in line with the Nigeria Dental & Medical Council’s policy and directive that Medical students should first be indexed before induction, we hereby inform students across all levels of study that the policy still subsists.

Accordingly, all the students that transferred their programme from the source of primary admission into MEDICINE & SURGERY are by this notice requested to submit the copy of the evidence of approval for a change of programme to Medicine & Surgery to the SECRETARY COLLEGE of MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES. This exercise is to enable the University Management undertake a positive and effective indexing processes.

All submission should be made on or before Tuesday, 29th July, 2025 as defaulters would be sanctioned.
