AL-QALAM UNIVERSITY KATSINA RELEASES LONG VACATION SESSION ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Al-Qalam University Katsina has announced the commencement of registration for its 2024/2025 Long Vacation Session (LVS), designed to provide students with opportunities for academic advancement and remediation. The session is structured to benefit students with deferred courses and those needing to retake failed courses.

1. Registration Period: Registration commences on Monday, June 30th, 2025. Students are strongly encouraged to register promptly, as late registration will not be accommodated.
2. Deferred Courses:
* Registration Deadline: July 4th, 2025.
* Lecture Start Date: July 14th, 2025, immediately after the Second Semester Examination.
* Attendance Requirement: A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to ensure comprehensive learning and engagement. Attendance will be monitored throughout the 14-week lecture period.
3. Failed Courses:
* First Semester: Students should register for First Semester failed courses immediately to facilitate early preparation and study.
* Second Semester: Following the release of the Second Semester results, students can register for any failed courses from that semester. Immediate participation in the relevant classes is advised to maximize learning outcomes.
4. Credit Unit Limit: The maximum allowable credit units for the LVS is 24, helping students to focus on key areas without overburdening their academic load.
5. Eligibility: Rusticated students are ineligible to participate in the LVS, as the session is intended for students in good standing seeking to improve their academic records.
