YABATECH SUG REACTS TO NEW ACADEMIC CALENDAR RELEASED BY MANAGEMENT
Legitdan News reports that the Students Union Government of Yaba College of Technology has issued an update on the newly released academic calendar for the second semester. The union acknowledged the management’s schedule which places Students Week from December 8 to 12, Practical Examinations from December 15 to 19, and the start of second semester examinations on January 5.
The union said it immediately met with the management after receiving complaints from students about the timing. They noted the inconvenience of beginning key academic activities so close to the festive period. Despite these engagements, no change has been approved by the management.
The SUG assured students that it will continue to push for a review that supports student welfare and creates a better academic environment. Discussions are still ongoing.
Students have been advised to stay informed, prepare well, and remain calm. The union promised to share further updates through official channels.
