
UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF ADMISSION EXERCISE FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Legitdan News gathered that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially concluded the 2024/2025 Admission Exercise. The management noted that some candidates offered admission into different programmes from their original choices are yet to accept the transfer offers via JAMB CAPS.
Key Details and Deadlines
- Candidates must accept or reject the transfer offers on JAMB CAPS by Friday, January 10, 2025.
- Failure to comply with the deadline will result in the forfeiture of admission.
Steps to Accept/Reject Transfer or Admission on JAMB CAPS:
- Visit portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility.
- Log in with your credentials.
- Access “Transfer Approval” or “Check Admission Status” under CAPS.
- Select “Accept” or “Reject” as applicable.
Rescheduled Screening/Registration for Newly Admitted Students (2nd Batch):
Due to the upcoming 55th Convocation Ceremonies (January 8–19, 2025), the screening/registration exercise for UTME and Direct Entry candidates has been divided into two phases:
- Phase 1: January 6–10, 2025
- Phase 2: January 20–31, 2025
Other Announcements:
- Building Department Induction Ceremony: Scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10 a.m.
- Career Development Virtual Training for Final-Year Students: Sessions on résumé building, personal branding, and job search strategies will be held on January 11 and January 18, 2025.
- Erasmus+ KA171 Programme Opportunity: Final-year students in eligible departments are encouraged to apply for the exchange program with Haliç University, Turkey.
