STATE GOVERNOR AWARDS UNILAG’S BEST GRADUATING STUDENTS WITH 10M EACH, APPOINTS THEM AS EDUCATION AMBASSADORS

The best-graduating students with a perfect 5.0 CGPA at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin, have both been awarded a sum of 10 million naira each by the Ogun State governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun.

The two were also appointed as Education Ambassadors of Ogun state for celebrating and appreciating them for making such a record and making the Ogun state proud.
The state governor, who made this announcement via his X, retaliated his support and dedication to investing in young minds and reforming the educational sector.
He said, “Their remarkable achievement is not only a personal victory but also a moment of pride for Ogun State and Nigeria at large”.
“To recognize their dedication and inspire future generations, we have appointed them as Education Ambassadors of Ogun State. In this role, they will engage with students, share their experiences, and encourage academic excellence. To further appreciate their hard work, we are supporting them with N10 million each as a token of our gratitude and a symbol of the limitless opportunities that come with diligence and perseverance.”
