SLU 2025 University Preparatory Programme admission

Applications are hereby invited from interested candidates for admission into the University Preparatory Programme (UPP) of the Sule Lamido University for the 2025 Academic Year.

The Programme is intended to provide rigorous academic training and improve academic performance of newly admitted University students. Candidates who obtained the required points will be absorbed into the University as 100 Level students.

Structure of the UPP Programme

The subjects to be taught under the UPP will be drawn from:

• Sciences

• Humanities

• Social and Management Sciences.

Eligibility/Requirement

Applicants with SSCE O-level result or its equivalent are eligible to apply when they have:

a) minimum of FIVE O’Level CREDITS in relevant science subjects including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

b) minimum of THREE O’Level CREDITS but must remedy the deficient credits before absorption into a degree program.

Validity of the Result

The result for the program shall be valid for two admission sessions for candidates who successfully passed the program but could not satisfy the O’Level credits or UTME requirements.

Admitted candidates who passed the remedial program, possess FIVE O-level credits including Mathematics and English and obtain the SLUK minimum UTME points shall be absorbed into a degree program.

The program is for one academic session only.

APPLICATION FEE: Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only.
