Nigerian Law School Postpones May 2024 Bar Part 2 Programme Resumption to June 3rd
In a notice issued on Friday, the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN, announced a change in the resumption date for the May 2024 Bar Part 2 Academic Session.

The programme, initially scheduled to commence on Monday, May 27th, 2024, will now begin on Monday, June 3rd, 2024.
“This is to notify all prospective students and the general public that the May 2024 Bar Part 2 Academic Session will now commence on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, and not Monday, May 27th, please,” the statement read.
The postponement comes as a surprise to many aspiring lawyers who were preparing to resume studies later this month. However, the Nigerian Law School authorities have deemed it necessary to push back the start date by one week.
While no specific reasons were provided for the change, it is speculated that the Law School may require additional time for administrative and logistical arrangements ahead of the new academic session.
