Niger State Govt. approves subsidized transportation for IBBUL students
In a compassionate response to the recent closure of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), the Niger State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved the provision of subsidized transportation for students traveling from Lapai to Minna, Suleja, and Bida.
The initiative is being coordinated by the National Association of Niger State Students (NANISS), IBBUL Chapter, in collaboration with NANISS National Headquarters, to ensure the safe and affordable movement of students back to their various destinations.

According to the announcement released by Comrade Usman Abdulrahman Kina, General Secretary of NANISS IBBUL, vehicles will be stationed at the main campus hostel starting tomorrow morning to begin conveying students.
Students are advised to remain within the campus environment, avoid unnecessary movements, and cooperate fully with NANISS officials during the transportation process. Detailed schedules and arrangements will be communicated in due course.
NANISS expresses profound appreciation to the state government for its swift intervention and prioritization of student welfare. Special thanks also go to the NANISS National body for its unwavering support in facilitating the logistics of this operation.
